Shannon Dobrovolny
With nearly 15 years in learning and development and talent management, I bring strategy, innovation, expertise and a goal-oriented approach. My extensive experience in not only comprehensive, end-to-end training design, but also larger learning and organizational development strategy allow me to approach problems to achieve both individual and big-picture company goals. I believe in maximizing time, energy and resources while remaining flexible for changing needs while aligning outcomes between learning and business.
I started my career working in higher education, where I saw skills gaps between school and work that traditional classroom teaching couldn't bridge. Can those key skills be trained at work? I certainly think so.
My topic expertise including leadership, management, DE&I, soft skills though I’ve designed training across a diverse range of training needs. My experience spans education, tech, startup and nonprofit, allowing me to adapt my approach to a variety of industries and subjects. No matter the topic or medium, dynamic, engaging and practical learning remain core threads through all my work.
When I'm not immersed in the world of Talent and L&D, you'll find me traveling far and wide, hiking with my dog, playing any kind of game and enjoying the local sips and bites of Philadelphia.

What is Hogan?
Hogan Reports
Hogan is an award-winning, powerful assessment tool that reveals the gap between self-perception and how others see us. As a certified interpreter, I use Hogan to answer key workplace questions: What do people want? How will they achieve their goals? What obstacles might they face? Hogan reports are valuable for leaders, executives, individuals seeking career clarity, recruitment and teams looking to improve collaboration. For more information, visit Hogan’s website or check out this third party review.
What is Hogan?
Interpretation
My interpretations go beyond the standard Hogan report. I provide a customized analysis, individual report and personalized conversation to help you fully understand your results. By analyzing multiple reports together, I can identify key insights and patterns that may not be apparent when viewed individually. This helps learners understand self-perception, career obstacles, strengths and ideal work environments. The report itself is helpful, but the interpretation is what makes it a game changer. See below for sample reports from the Insight series, Team Report, High Potential and Leadership Forecast.
